10 – Plan on taking an early bus. Race day traffic is AWFUL and if you wait to catch the last bus you may not make your corral start time. If buses run from 4am – 6am, plan on getting on the bus no later than 5am to be there for the start of the race!

9 – Layer up and take it off. It’ll likely be chilly while you are waiting for the race to start, so wear an extra layer. Make it something you are not attached to & discard it at the start of the race- that clothing is collected and donated to those in need.

8 -  Hairspray is your friend.I recommend Frizz Ease brand to keep your hair in place without making it feel like a helmet. No one wants their hair to look hideous in race day photos!
